Her story
The animating spirit of b.Honey is the dynamic entrepreneurial life of Carol's recently deceased mother, Helen "Honey" Phillips. Honey took over a single-branch community bank in Columbiana, AL as CEO in the late 1970s at age 40 and grew the business, opening several more branches. She lived with a warm-hearted, empathetic spirit — making everyone feel at home in her world.
